1. Sour cream raisin pie 🥧 I wasn't sure about this one, the name alone made me go WTF? But I made it because it's one of my Grandpa's favorites. Y'ALL IT WAS DELICIOUS 😋 I surprised myself with this it doesn't taste like sour cream or raisins even though those are two of the ingredients. The name is deceptive lol
2. I really surprised myself with this meal. I happened to have zucchini and bell peppers and a steak so I googled a recipe for sauteed zucchini and bell peppers and the first recipe to pop up had a lemon flavor, which I thought would pair perfectly with my garlic lemon marinade for the steak and voila 😘 delicious meal!
3. And 4. My pot pie looked like it had an angry face LMAO 🤣
5. I saw a random tiktok where a lady made matcha green tea cookies with white chocolate chips and I had to try it. The color didn't turn out great but the flavor was exactly what I was craving! I will be making these again.

Here's a quick and easy recipe to make a delicious gyro bowl.

I love cooking from scratch and eating whole foods as much as possible but sometimes it's just too time consuming. What I did here was mix my own gyro seasoning and put it in a pan with some ground lamb and mixed it while it cooked.

Then I made a homemade yogurt sauce with just dill and lemon juice. I added a couple drops of lemon 🍋 essential oil to punch up the flavor without the yogurt getting too runny. I usually like to properly julienne slice the cucumber 🥒 but I was lazy so they're a bit chunky. Honestly it still tastes the same! 😁

Then I used canned diced tomatoes 🍅 to save myself from having to chop another vegetable (yeah I know it's technically a fruit) and pitted olives from a jar 🫒 top with feta cheese 🧀 and voila! 😘

Super tasty, easy, and only took about 25 minutes. Plus I have enough leftovers for two more meals and it's all ready to go, just needs to be assembled.

Time is a luxury for many of us. When I have the time I love to cook a hearty meal from scratch. My go-to comfort meal is steak and potatoes 😋

The potatoes take the longest so I get those started and then make a simple salad and eat it while I'm cooking. Then I sauteed some veggies, tonight it was yellow squash. While I put the finishing touches on the veggies and potatoes (aka SEASONING) I get the steak started.

The steak and potatoes are my favorite parts of this meal, I season everything a little differently each time depending on what I have on hand. Today it was sauteed mushrooms, Parmesan, garlic and truffle. While I like salad and veggies I will end up not eating them if I save them for last so I always make sure I eat them first.

Most of the time I don't get to eat a meal this elaborate so it's a treat!

Hiking with my girl is so much fun! I already love to hike, but seeing how much she loves it and how happy it makes her just makes it even better. She went HAM when she saw snow 🤣❄️

I love to do easy hikes on my rest days, it's a win win win. I still get in activity/steps without over doing it. My dog gets good exercise, we both get fresh air, and she's tired after 😍😴
